In the practical engineering, RC frame-filling walls structure were widely applied by economy and applicability. At present the most engineer still useing pure framework design method that frame structure can take full effect for simplify. However, in the actual seismic,infilled wall have influence to frame structure bearing capacity and deformation properties.also,infilled wall have the complex interactions with frame structure.Our current structural seismic design is based on the intensity and bearing capacity design method that use the "three standards, two levels" design criteria.Traditional anti-seismic design method can guarantee safety of people’s life under rare earthquake, but the economic losses are often great after the earthquake.Performance-based seismic design with the performance index, performance level for the design basis can maximize the reduction of earthquake disaster and economic loss which become the mainstream direction of national seismic code revision in twenty century.Our seismic design of buildings has included performance based structure properties in some extent. But it has not yet formed a set of relatively complete system and train of thought and some indicators are not quantitative which lack of maneuverability.This paper based on the perspective of performance,with engineering example as the research object,analysis and evaluation of filled wall frame structure of the seismic performance,for the future of China’s seismic code based on performance toward the direction to provide the reference. The main research work the following:(1) The existing research theories summarized the working performance of filled-wall and the influence on seismic performance of the frame structure.(2) the article has summarized and analyzed the existing infilled wall model, it uses the diagonal strut model and concluded the nonlinear parameters of the infilled wall and strut,then it chooses the reasonable equivalent strut width calculation method for the not open hole in the infilled wall.Through simulation experiments, this article confirms that the simplified model is effective, rationality.(3)This article through to the empty frame model and overspread infilled wall model static elastoplastic analysis, the model vertex displacement-basal shear, performance point and inter-story drift ratio of comparison and research. This article studies on infilled wall in the framework structure deformation property and the bearing capacity, the influence of the rigidity.(4) This paper collected a lot of RC frame-filling walls structure of the specimen test data, through the analysis and clean up of the test data, in view of the different structure performance level, using relevant between inter-story drift ratio limitation quantitativeand performance-based seismic evaluation for rules and vertical irregular frameworks, then finds out the weak layer structure for providing the reference for the seismic design of the RC frame-filling walls structure.(5) Through the evaluation and analysis of large the finite element model. It indicates the structure that designed by the present seismic code satisfies the requirement of the frame portion "undamaged and minor earthquake",but infilled wall crack obviously,then it will cause infilled wall repaired and working end and so on.The current specification is necessary to further improve in the performance-based seismic design ideas.
