The bottom of the large space structure of reinforced concrete block masonry shear wall structure, as a new system, while maintaining the structure of reinforced concrete block masonry shear wall characteristics, but also to meet the needs of the building at the bottom of a large space requirements, with than the reinforced concrete shear wall structures supported significant economic advantages, has broad application prospects. At present, many scholars have begun research in this area, and has made a number of related results. In this paper, the corresponding research about this type of structure on the basis of former following:(1)At the basis of knowledge on multi-component seismic inputs, fixed spectral intensity factor combined with the newest 《Building Seismic Code》(2) Through the existing theories will be equivalent to reinforced masonry shear walls of reinforced concrete shear wall. Using the software Midas/Building contrasted power elasticity and plasticity analys of the bottom of the large space structure of reinforced concrete block masonry shear wall and the reinforced concrete shear wall two structures (engineering NO.1and engineering NO.2) under action of the single direction earthquake and the multidimensional earthquake and got the analysis results.(3) Selected two actual earthquake records and an artificial wave, doing the elastic time history analysis of two engineerings from the X, Y direction and compared the result of response spectrum method. The result shows that, two structures have similar parameters,so the force performance of them is similar.(4)In the structure dynamic elastic-plastic analysis, this paper analyzed the yield sequence of the framework hinge and the wall hinge under action of the single direction earthquake and the multidimensional earthquake, and from the yield sequence of the structure components we can know that the distribution and transmission path of force, which can make us better understand the structure stress performance, and then to adopt corresponding anti-seismic measures. (5)The conclusion obtained that the diference of the basic symmetrical structure is not very obvious under action of the single direction earthquake and the multidimensional earthquake during the elastic response phase, but the difference is obvious during elastic-plastic reaction stage, so it can’t use single direction seismic analysis to fully simulate structure response analysis under the earthquake.
