Augmented Reality-based Product Service System Design Application And Research

With the trend of integration of products and services by design, Product ServiceSystem Design is considered to be a direction for the future design development. Notonly the characteristics of Product Service System Design focus on "MaterializedProduct" but also enter the field of "System Design", which are the combination of the"product" and "service" and the transformation of "product design" into "overallsolution". This solution may be the materialized "product design", may also be thenon-materialized "service design", integrates several factors related to design in thebusiness environment, and create a new overall solution with a new "business model".This thesis researches urban navigation Product Service System Designinteractively, by taking Milan2015World Expo as the design background, focusingon urban navigation Product Service System Design based on Augmented Realitytechnology, using the Augmented Reality software BuildAR.One of the difficulties of this thesis is the proper combination of AugmentedReality technology and urban navigation product service system design. Based on areal project "SeeTy Urban Navigation Product Service System Design", this thesiscreated a persona according to user’s goal, imported contextual scenario, analyzed theneeds of augmented reality technology in detail, developed multifunctional urbannavigation product service system overall solution, including: product, service,website and interaction, by using the Service Design Tools, and most importantlyfocused on the development platform and interaction design in augmentedreality-based urban navigation product service system design.This thesis integrates the Augmented Reality technology into the ProductService System Design innovatively, using urban navigation product service system ascarrier, providing Product Service System Design solutions through user study, theService Design Tools and interaction design process, which is a really good reference.
