With the rapidly development of the Internet and network techniques, people set an even higher demand on acquiring information quickly, Economically and conveniently. At the same time, intelligent application of household appliances had become one of life styles which people were after. In application, how to monitor and operate household appliances by Internet had been a hot in information household appliances industry. At present, embedded network techniques whose core was embedded microprocessor and embedded operating system had applied in some field. Combination of embedded system and Internet would be a new direction of controlling field, and became the main route and way to accomplish remote control. Forrester’research indicated that95%of liaison equipments were not the traditional computers but the embedded system with the function of Internet by the end of2011.The paper introduced a high-class MPU+TCP/IP scheme access to Internet. An embedded household appliance control system which was economically priced and practicability for application was designed. In the overall design, ARM was selected as the developing platform of the hardware to take the advantages of ARM that saving cost and convenient to system expand and secondary develop into account. All together, selecting μC/OS-Ⅱ as the embedded operating system could ensure real-time property of system.On the hardware and software design, the microprocessor as the main control chip was LPC2210for Philips Corp. Network interface was highly integrated RTL8019AS Ethernet chip.μC/OS-Ⅱ operating system was used to select and transplant, and at the end to had analyzed and brought about embedded TCP/IP protocol stack—ZLG/IP. People could use IE to bring about remote access and monitor in the way of dynamic interactive between embedded Web and remote browser.Local monitor was also designed. Local monitor including LCM and keyboard control module and so on could not only conventionally control household appliances but also realize remote monitor for system.At last, the designed network monitor system was on test in Ethernet. The result indicated that this embedded network reached the expected requirements of practicality, reliability and used easily. And this design was of great practical significance extremely.
