Phosphorus slag is an industrial waste in the production of the phosphoric acid, accumulation of phosphorus not only takes the land resources, which hugely increase the economic burden to the enterprise, but also cause serious environmental pollution. Along with advocating on energy saving and discharge reducing and building the abstemious society, a large amount new types of wall materials made of industrial waste emerge as the times require, Autoclaved phosphorous slag brick as one of kinds is characteristic with heat preserving, insulating, noise insulation, environmental protection and well-antifreezing.Its wide application can not only reduce pollution of the phosphorus slag to the environment, but also create enormous economic and social benefits. In order to prepare code of building design and promote the application of autoclaved phosphorous slag brick masonry, the paper carried out the research on the seismic performance of autoclaved phosphorous slag brick masonry with horizontal reinforcement.The paper mainly includes the following several aspects:Through research on the compressive strength and flexural strength of autoclaved phosphorous slag brick, the compressive strength and ratio flexural to compressive strength of autoclaved phosphorous can meet requirements of uniform technical code for wall material used in building.Through the compression test on autoclaved phosphorous slag brick masonry with mortar strength M10and M5, the conclusion is the failure model and process of autoclaved phosphorous slag brick are similar with the ordinary autoclaved brick, but autoclaved phosphorous slag brick crack earlier. Compared to the compression strength and elastic modulus of M5and M10masonry calculated by the existing formula in code, the values gained from tests is relatively is relatively safe.Through the pseudo static test on the4pieces of autoclaved phosphorous slag brick wall with horizontal reinforcement with different vertical stress and ratio of steel, analyse influencing factors on the failure mode and process, and the working mechanism of the horizontal reinforcing steel. In addition, based on the hysteresis curve, stiffness degradation curve, skeleton curve, ductility and energy dissipation coefficient etc, the conclusion is reinforced masonry is superior to ordinary masonry. Compared to the experimental value, the calculated value according to formula in Building Code of Aseismic Designing are safer.Based on tests,the finite ABAQUS is used to proceed the finite element analysis on phosphorus slag autoclaved brick wall, and because of no reasonable constitutive relation and modeling at present, the simulated result is different from the experimental result, but it provides another way to analyse the seismic performance of autoclaved phosphorous slag brick masonry.
