Masonry structure is a kind of structural type with ancient history,and has made great contributions to human habitation and production.Clay brick is the main material used in masonry structure for a long time,energy consumption in the production process,air polluted and a large amount of cultivated land been consumed,it caused very serious damage to the environment.With the policies implementing of wall-reform in our country,the autoclaved fly-ash brick has great value of popularization and application for its advantages of environmental protection,light and high-impact.It is an excellent substitute for clay brick.At present,the research on the seismic performance of autoclaved fly-ash brick masonry is limited,as the poor seismic performance of masonry structure,it is necessary to study the seismic performance of autoclaved fly-ash brick masonry.At present,it is known that the vertical compressive stress is one of the most influential factors to the masonry walls.In this paper,the mechanical properties of autoclaved fly-ash brick masonry wall under the action of earthquake are analyzed and studied by using four pieces of autoclaved fly-ash brick walls,according to the test results,the calculation method of shear capacity and deformation capacity of autoclaved fly-ash brick masonry wall is put forward.The main results of this paper are as follows:1.The pseudo static test of 4 autoclaved fly-ash brick walls under low cyclic reversed loading is carried out,analyzed the shear capacity,failure mode,hysteretic characteristics,displacement angle and ductility coefficient of autoclaved fly-ash brick walls,the results shows that increasing the vertical compressive stress in a certain range can effectively improve the shear strength of autoclaved fly-ash brick walls,it can improve the rigidity of the wall and restrict the deformation of the wall,but the ductility of the walls has declined.After the opening of the wall of the autoclaved fly-ash brick wall,the wall stiffness decrease obviously,however,the ductility and energy dissipation capacity has been significantly improved.2.On the basis of the classic theory of shear strength,combined with the experimental data,I put forward the calculation rules of shear strength and deformation of autoclaved fly-ash brick composite walls,and the results are compared with the experimental results.The results shows that the calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental results,the formula has reference value.3.Based on the rule of shear strength and deformation of autoclaved fly-ash brick walls,the hysteretic model of autoclaved fly-ash brick walls is put forward.
