Compared with conventional DC generator, the switched reluctancegenerator has simple structure, low cost, flexible control, higher fault-tolerantcapability and energy density, do not ask for much of the work environment, as anew type of DC power generation machine, in recent years in householdappliances, aviation, ships, electric cars, coal, textiles and in the areas such aswind power system, it was used widely.The dissertation analyzed the basic components, power generation principleand control strategy of Switch Reluctance Generator system. Established aswitched reluctance generator simulation model in the use of Matlab/Simunlinksimulation software. Through the simulation, analyzed the differentcharacteristics of the angle control, current chopping control andpulse-width-modulated (Pulse Modulation Width hereinafter referred to as PWM)control of switched reluctance generator, provided a theoretical support forswitched reluctance control method selecting.The traditional parameter tuning method of fuzzy PID controller islaborious and time consuming, moreover the accuracy is not high and haslimitations in the use of different systems, in accordance with the basicprinciples of fuzzy PID control, based on Matlab/Simulink optimizationtoolbox, proposed a fuzzy PID controller parameters optimize design method.An example shows that the course of this method, time is shorter, easy to use,and universal quality is good, especially for non-linear, time-varying system hasgood regulation characteristics. In accordance with the Switch ReluctanceGenerator system working principle and the proposed fuzzy PID controllerparameters optimization design method, based on the PWM control theory,designed a fuzzy PI controller of switched reluctance generator, and through thesimulation, compared and analysised the difference control performance of theconventional PI controller and fuzzy PI controller. Based on the ystems theorydesigned the hardware circuit and control software programming.The results of this study has a certain reference value on the thecharacteristics analysis of the Switched Reluctance generator system, and haspractical engineering significance on further promote the power generation ofSR motor application.
