Switched Reluctance Motor has following characteristics: simple structure, low cost, unique fault tolerance reliability, high power density, and high speed capability. It can achieve dual function of both starter and generator easily, and more and more attention is also paid to its application in generation field. This thesis mainly focuses on further theoretic research as well as experimental research of switched reluctance motor (short for SRM) in the aerial generation field.This thesis is devoted to theoretical research and engineering practice on switched reluctance starter/generator (short for SRS/G) system. Firstly,the thesis introduces the basic structure of SRS/G. On the basis of it ,it analyses basic electronics-magnetic relationship of SRS/G, and the basic generation theory of SRM is deeply studied in detailed. Then the paper analyses SRS/G's electro-mechanical energy converting disciplinarian,and clarities the essence of generation. SRS/G's control characteristic,control parameters,control strategy and their relationships are analyzed and researched. Four control methods of SRS/G(angle position control method, current chopping control method and pulse width modulation control method,full conducted chopping control method) are deeply researched and analyzed. According to running performance of several processes which include startup state, low speed and high speed state, the thesis puts forward the association control schemes of current chopping control method with fixed switch angles in low speed, current chopping control method with variational switch angles in middle speed,and angle position control method in high speed generating running state.According to the mathematics model,this thesis compiles simulation programs, and builds a linear simulation model of SRS/G in detail in Simulink. Then it simulates SRS/G's steady characteristics and dynamic behavior by the model.Finally, a integrated digital and analog controller controlled by 80C196KC microchip is developed, partial hardware and software circuits of the controller are also designed. |
