The miniaturization laser triangulation probe based on the principle of laser triangulation is a non-contact precision measurement instrument, which is widely used in the industrial real-time online testing. Compared with the traditional contact measurement, the non-contact measurement of laser triangulation has a high accuracy, speed miniaturization and integration features. This paper designed an optical system of a high precision and miniaturization laser triangulation probe.Firstly, the paper studied the basic principles of the laser triangulation and derived the formula between the object and the image of the laser triangulation; secondly, the paper chosen a semiconductor laser as the light source of the probe, a linear CCD as the optical receivers of the probe. Finally, designed a laser shaping optical system through the optical design software ZEMAX for the miniaturization laser triangulation probe. Using two orthogonal arrangement of the cylindrical lens to achieve a collimated laser beams and then using two serrate lens to focus the collimated beams. The image optical system used four lens and the image was clear the distortion was small and the illumination of the image plane was uniform.
