The cantilever construction method has been commonly used in continuous beambridges. In this method, a platform is set up on each side of the bridge pier. By takingthe completed beam segments as supports, concrete is cast in a symmetrical manner andprestressed forces are added piece by piece. Taking a hanging basket as a moving form,concrete casting, reinforcement assembling and stretching prestressing reinforcementcan be performed in the basket. Thus, the performance of the hanging basket becomes akey element for the cantilever construction of continuous beam bridges.Taking a continuous beam bridge under construction as engineering background,the main work of this thesis is as follows:First, the type, characteristics and applicability of hanging baskets used in theconstruction of continuous beam bridges at home and abroad are systematicallysummarized.Second, the triangular hanging basket is adopted in the project. Through analyzingvarious cases, the least favorable state of the hanging basket is determined. At the leastfavorable state, the strength, stiffness and stability of the hanging basket are examined.The each member of the hanging basket is determined.Finally, the construction techniques are determined, the key construction elementsare analyzed and the corresponding technical assurance measures are proposed.
