Design And Performance Analysis Of Virtual Instrument Test System For Fin Stabilizer

With the rapid development of science and technology, the requirements of themeasurement techniques become more sophisticated.In order to satisfy the diverse needs inthe actual measurement work,the virtual instrument technology is developed and widely beused.As is know to us, the fin stabilizer is a ship device which can decrease the ship rollingeffectively and ensure the navigational safety. It is also a complex device that consists ofmechanism, electric and hydraulic system.The system of the fin stabilizer is complex,and it isinvolved in much knowledge.All of these reason make the maintenances and troubleshootingrather difficult,and lead the optimize design on the structure and parameters of the finstabilizer is also very difficult, even impossible. Therefore, we use the virtual instrumentsoftware platform LabVIEW to design the virtual simulation system of the fin stabilizer.Withthe capabilities such as calculation,display and storage of the computer to enable the design ofstructure and parameter optimization.It introduces the NJ5fin stabilizer system of three major components in this paper:mechanical devices, hydraulic control and electric control systems.And describe the workprinciple of the fin stabilizer with two works condition,On this basis,it get the simulationanalysis of the fin stabilizer control system and hydraulic system.It is measure relevant parameters, test servo system related performance index basis onthe theory of ship rolling and the performance requirements of fin stabilizer System typeNJ5.At last,it get the purposes of shorten the cycle, save money, improve reliability with allthe works above.Testing and performance analysis system have be established in the LABVIEW with theneed of analysis report and other hardware,such as data acquisition card.It have completed theperformance analysis in this paple,which can displays charts, curve, animation and otherforms of analysis results truly.
