Research On The Safety Earned Value Method Of Construction Project Management

Safe production is necessary for the sustainable and healthy development of constructioncompanies, it also relates to the harmonious development of society and the country’s politicalstability. The loss in China caused by security incidents each year is huge, and lower levels ofsafety management has become one of important reasons for impeding the economicdevelopment and social stability. Strengthening the process of monitoring on the safety costand safely situation of the construction projects has a very important significance onimproving the safety management level and ensuring the sustained and healthy developmentof construction enterprises.This article describes study situation of the Earned Value Management at home andabroad, discusses the knowledge of project management and safety management, analyzethe possibility of combining the earned value method and the safety management ofconstruction projects, proposes the safety earned method of construction project, gives aresearch on the planned safety cost and actual safety cost, and builds safety evaluation index,uses the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, gives prediction method of the plannedsafety degree and the actual safety evaluation method, gives the way to calculate the threeparameters and two indicators. Finally, the process of illustrating the way to evaluate ofconstruction project method is demonstrated by an example which verifies the feasibility andpracticality of the method.Project manager can find the deviation of the operation of the project in time throughmonitoring the process of the safety costs and safety degree of the construction project by theuse of safety earned method, which has an important theoretical and practical value on thereduction of security incidents and the improving of the level of the safety management ofconstruction companies.
