With the continuous development and improvement of the GPRStechnology, wireless POS technology has become an important developmentdirection of the POS terminal system. Currently, the major domesticsupermarkets and shopping malls POS credit card machine, mostly based onthe point-to-point dial-up access the POS system, poor mobility, severelylimits the development of the credit card business. Wireless POS technologyto effectively solve the disadvantage of poor mobility wired POS machines,the use of wireless POS terminals and wireless modem interact with datathrough GPRS network with the banking system, to provide users with acredit card business.Firstly, the system cashier front-end subsystem, the FEP processingsubsystem and the communication subsystem functional requirements areanalyzed. Use embedded Linux systems, as well as C/C++technologybusiness processing module in the system folder processing module, thepacket forwarding module the timeout control module aspects of realizationof system functions. By using file-sharing, to strengthen the communicationof data between the three modules of the system, thereby reducing the degreeof coupling between the three modules, to improve the system’s flexibility andreusability.Secondly, using the folder control techniques to achieve the informationcommunication among processes in the system, using Siemens MC39i GPRSmodule for the transfer of information between the system and the bank cardsystem, and the PPP protocol used in the link layer in the TCP/IP layerSocket technology interaction to achieve data link layer encapsulation,thereby improving the flexibility of the system. Finally, in order to ensure that consumers, merchants, banks, financialsecurity, to prevent unauthorized third-party transaction information in awireless network eavesdropping and tampering with data encryptiontechnology to transactions in the transaction process messages and transactionresponse message encryption, and find large prime numbers of the RSAencryption algorithm and authentication algorithm improvements, improveefficiency of data encryption, reduce transaction time, and enhance theusefulness of the system.In this paper, the study of mobile cash register POS systems to ensure theregion as long as the mobile GPRS network coverage can be achieved to theconsumer’s credit card spending, and data encryption technology to protectthe data security in the transaction process.
