This paper mainly studies on the background of the user end ofthe digital substation design and implementation. On end user common110/10kVsubstation as the design object, the whole substation from the first device to the twodevice, from the process layer control layer, arrive from hardware to software undertookpreliminary design. And the user end of the digital substation the most importantequipment of relay protection for hardware and software design, through a series ofexperiments to verify the equipment function and performance.
