| Energy has always been seen as a central pillar of the social andeconomic development around the world. Its existence is one of thenecessary safeguards to maintain the survival of mankind. As the world’ssecond largest energy consumer, China’s energy supply is facing tremendouspressure. Release of the "12nd five years" energy conservationcomprehensive work program has strengthened the supervision ofenergy-saving and pollution reduction targets. As the main carrier of energysaving technology applications, many of the large industrial park runs thelack of effective means for energy efficiency monitoring and management.And the system of energy efficiency monitoring has great significance forreducing production costs and improving energy efficiency.To prove the practicality of energy management and optimization basedon energy monitoring, the development of energy monitoring system isdescribed, the selection of hardware and development of software areelaborated. The overall structure of the monitoring system for energyefficiency is designed; including RS-485bus structure, choice of acquisitionmeasuring instruments and data concentrators, building of networkcommunications, selection of data center equipment, design of data base,monitoring software and analysis software. And the processes of energymanagement and optimization are generalized.According to energy monitoring in several enterprises of a Shanxiindustrial park, the comprehensive energy efficiency data and singleequipment details are listed. Based on data of one enterprise, energymanagement and optimization were practiced. Through practice that energy management and optimization based on energy efficiency monitoring arevery practical. |
