Research On New Type Elevator Door Machine Controlsystem With Permanent Magnet Motor

Elevator door machine drive control system is an indispensable partof elevator’s electric system. A new elevator door machine control systemwith a sinusoidal wave brushless DC motor (SWBLDCM) and adecelerating mechanism is researched and developed. The new system hashigh reliability, high efficiency and high cost performance.This paper reviews the development course of the elevator doormachine system and the present situation of the research, and puts forwarda new type of elevator door control system using SWBLDCM. Based onthe mathematic model of Brushless DC motor and the principle of spacevoltage vector control, the software implementation methods and steps aredescribed. According to industry standards and user requirements,comprehensive design parameters and functional definitions of the elevatordoor machine system are drawn up and briefly analyzed. The opening andclosing performance requirements of the elevator door machine controlsystem are deeply studied, and a new kind of opening and closing curve isdesigned.According to the door machine application needs, a prototype of thenew brushless DC motor controller is developed. It is integrated withbrushless DC motor driving with sinusoidal wave current, opening andclosing curve control, various protection functions and so on. The maincircuit, auxiliary power supply, control circuit, parameter adjustment,monitoring and protection of hardware circuit are included. The softwareprogram with opening and closing function, re-open function, self-learningfunction, demonstration, monitoring, protection, communication, openingand closing curve control is programmed.Finally, a sinusoidal wave brushless DC motor of elevator doormachine control system which can successfully run. Being measured and tested, the system opens and closes the elevator door smoothly, fast andsafely. The proposed parameter requirements and functional requirementsare realized.
