The Quality Control Of Project Management For Construction Enterprises

Construction business has been developed early in China. It is one of the industriesthat adopt project control early. But backwardness of technology and managementstill exists in China, compared with that of developed countries in Europe andAmerica. The employees’ quality level varies widely and the construction business isin a state of extensive development. There is a long way to go in order to achievecomprehensive improvement in China’s construction business.Firstly, this paper presents definitions and theoretical framework of project controland unique project control characteristics of construction business. Secondly, there isa case study about the author’s experience of participating in a sports centerconstruction management. Then the author analyzes risk control, cost control andprocess control and their influence to construction quality control. The focus of thepaper is to discuss construction quality control theories, existing problems and putforward solutions.When presenting project control theories, the author respectively introduces therelated knowledge about quality control, cost control and process control and thespecific project control method. As for the existing problems in China’s constructionenterprises, related solutions are put forward. In the end of each chapter, the authoranalyzes emerged problems before the application of project control in the sportscenter construction. After its application, the process and results of the constructionare described in details.Finally, on the basis of China construction enterprises reality, the improvementmethods are offered. The paper draws a conclusion that after reconsidering andredefinition of quality control, cost control and process control, China’s constructionenterprises can utilize their own advantages to improve project control.
