Domestic and international current situation in Solar PhotovoltaicPower Generation is analyzed to the question of improving inverterefficiency in Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation. According to thesolar photovoltaic power generation principle, the whole system isstudied and compared. The methods of reducing drive loss andswitching loss are used to improve the inverter efficiency inPhotovoltaic Power Generation.In the component selection aspect, the performance betweenfield-effect transistor MOSFET and insulate-gate bipolar transistorIGBT is compared. The inverter circuits with MOSFET and IGBT areanalyzed respectively, then the IGBT of high performance and low lossis selected as power switch tube of drive circuit and inverter circuit.The integrated circuit with EXB841is selected as driving circuit partbecause of the over-current protection circuit which can simplifyexternal circuit structure. Through the changes of series resistanceconnection method of IGBT, the integrated circuit with EXB841isoptimized to achieve the arm of reducing drive loss and improve driveefficiency eventually.In the inverter circuit aspect, the phase shift full bridge zerovoltage zero current pulse width modulation PS-FB-ZVZCS PWMcircuit which can reduce a part of effective power loss throughauxiliary circuit is used. The merit of using PS control technology isthat switch frequency is increased doubled while the loss isn’tincreased doubled. ZVZCS can reduce the switch loss, FB inverter circuit is better than push-pull type inverter circuit. The combination ofthe three ways to optimize the solar photovoltaic power invertersystem is used to reduce the switching loss of inverter circuit andimprove working efficiency of inverter circuit.According to the above solutions, a further validation about thedrive loss and switching loss of the whole system is illustrated by partof experimental research, the reference for improving inverterefficiency in Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation is provided.
