| Product styling design is being paid more and more attention today, and with thedevelopment of computer technology,application and research of CAD/CAE/CAM is moreand more mature and widely. It provides more effective platform for the design andmanufacturing of product modeling part.In this paper, by using the software in the existing computer aided design&analysis area,the CAD/CAE/CAM integration is applied to improve the automation of product modelingand the efficiency and quality of design aimming at the components with curved surface.A type of the printer’s shell is taken for example in this topic, the mixed process ofpositive design and reverse design is used to realize design and innovation of the product’smodeling part. And in this process the datas of product style is obtained in the reverse designthrough3D scanning. The datas is processed and the characteristic line related withappearance is extracted in the InnovMetric Software. Then in Pro/E, the3D digital model ofthe model is rebuilded through the import of characteristic line. In the positive design,UG/OPEN API, UG/OPEN MenuScript and UG/OPEN UIStyler dialog box technology isapplied to automatic drawing of complex decorative picture in UG based on VC++6.0. ThePro/E data and UG data is exchanged into each other by the use of STEP format, that is to say,the3D model is transported into UG and then the designed3D decorative pictures is added tothe surface of models, so as to realize the innovation of product appearance. The printer’sshell is taken for example, and geometric shape design information is researched based on themodeling parts of the case product made from plastic materials by the ANSYS software, so asto put forward the build methods of the finite element model for analysing the rigidity andstrength of analogous to the plastic modeling. The injection mold of modeling part is designedand NC code of mould is automatically generated based on Pro/E. |
