In the coal mine low-voltage grid, the security and people’s lives are the mostimportant issue related to people’s safety. In order to ensure the safety operation duringcoal mine low-voltage grid, the real time monitoring of the operational status of everynode is needed. And then the unusual status and fault status could be controlled andprocessed well.Under this circumstance, this thesis proposed a monitoring and protection systemsfor mining of low-voltage power feeder switch based on DPS. The system usesadvanced algorithms and communication functions in order to reduce errors, with ahigh accuracy and reliability.The hardware of the system sampled the feature of the low-pressure feeder switchand measure voltage, current and other electrical parameters. After this, AD converter,computation, processed are used in these parameters. Also, these parameters are inconjunction with the coal mine grid failure characteristics of the short circuit, overcurrent and leakage failure to achieve such protection. System management modulechanges the human-machine dialogue, and output the amount of information online.Hardware designing part, takes advantage of the DSP peripheral interface featureswith many functions and simplifies the system primarily through the analysis ofcircuits and chip devices. Through coding the modular software design has goodportability and flexibility. System hardware and software design has also taken anumber of anti-interference methods to improve the accuracy of signal measurementand control system reliability.Finally experiments of the system were introduced, and the relevant data wasanalyzed. The work is concluded and the future work is introduced.
