The smart distribution grid developments are an important part of our countries electricpower system foundations facilities developments, passing the distribution networkfoundation facilities developments, realizing to go together with the distribution network toisolate fault rapidly, to instaurat power supply rapidly, and to supervise and control the linesreal-time, can shorten availably fault outage time, increase customer power supply dependable.Study on a new type of voltage-time type feeder protection mode and device belongs to theresearch field of intelligent distribution network feeder automation. Traditional voltage timetype feeder protection model has been unable to meet user requirements for the reliability ofpower supply. A novel voltage-time type feeder automation protection mode is to solve theshortcomings of traditional voltage-time type feeder protection mode as the research target,and provides a new high reliability solution for the smart distribution grid developments.New electric voltage-time type feeder line automation relay mode is opposite to realy modein the traditional electric voltage-time type feeder line but talk, the traditional electricvoltage-time type protects the not enough place of the mode is break down insulate to needswitch proceed many action, break down insulation time is longer, break down insulatedemand many pound at circuit.The new electric voltage-time type feeder line automationrelay mode is the not enough a research for, proceeding new electric voltage-time type feederline automation relay mode that aim at the traditional electric voltage-time type feeder lineautomation relay mode primarily, realizing exaltation circuit switch, transformer...etc.equipments service life, shorten the breakdown insulates time and from more power supplyinstauration horary lesson topic mark.This paper mainly from the domestic and foreign research present situation, new mode ofprotection principle, modeling and simulation, device design, device test verification and soon several aspects, elaborated the new10kV distribution network voltage time type feederprotection device of the research content, research process and research results. Throughinvestigation and comparison of four existing reclosers feeder protection mode, analysis ofthe significance and goal mode of the research model of10kV distribution network voltagetime type feeder protection. The basic principle of new feeder protection mode is the basis of fault signal coupling detection principle to realize fault diagnosis, automatic isolation andrecovery. Application of EWB simulation software for proof of principle signal injectioncoupling method, to determine the feasibility of new protection mode principle.New type of feeder protection device is mainly composed of a switch device, PT,coupling capacitor voltage sensor, the signal source and signal detection terminal consists ofseveral parts. Switching equipment uses the existing voltage time type switch; coupled PTcarries on the improvement design in the existing voltage time type PT based on capacitorvoltage sensor; mainly conducts the research from the aspects of reliability, signaltransmission, anti-jamming and so on; the signal source and signal detection terminal mainlyaiming at the deficiency of existing distribution terminal, develop new product platform, andbased on the realization of the platform of new voltage-time type feeder protection function.Test verification of new feeder protection device mainly comprises a plant simulationtest and field test of two links, through the two parts of the verification of main function,principle of feasibility and device model of feeder protection mode of the performance index,the test proves the feasibility of the new mode of voltage time type feeder protection andrealization, finally by summary and outlook, summarizes the existing research results andfollow-up research proposals.
