With the improvement of capabilities of military surveillance, target information provided by surveillance intelligence is more and more accurate. National military departments and research institutes focus on the fusion of multi-source surveillance intelligence. In this thesis, the association of electronic surveillance intelligence (ESM Intelligence) and technical surveillance intelligence with radar track is studied deelply based on a defence project.This thesis introduces three typical algorithms of ESM intelligence and track association:comprehensive evaluation of association algorithm based on azimuth and attribute parameter, association algorithm based on attribute clustering and crossing location and dual-threshold algorithms of discriminate function based on normal distribution. Based on these algorithms, the ESM intelligence and target track associaton has the problem that objects in one group, which is close each other, are associated with the wrong track, a new association algorithm of ESM track and radar tracks based on local optimum and global optimum is proposed. The advantages and disadvantages of the four algorithms are analyzed.During associating, due to the characteristics of large time delay, long interval, strong randomness and so on, a few of information of technical surveillance intelligence could be used for associating. But it provides more accurate and reliable target information for the association of technical surveillance intelligence with radar track. The improved association algorithm of technical surveillance intelligence with radar track based on nearest neighbor method.Finally, the simulation results are given for the proposed algorithms. The results show that the algorithm associating base on local optimum and global optimum of ESM tack with radar track can improve the accuracy for objects in one group. The proposed algorithms has small computing complexcity and the threshold, which exists in many association algorithms, need not to be determined. The association algorithm of technical surveillance intelligence and radar track achieves the desired results.
