The old blocks bear witness to the history of a city,and the streets of the old city leave traces of the city yesterday.The old block is the memory of a city.As an important part of a city,the old block records the development history of a city.The renovation of the old blocks should be built on the basis of preservation and inheritance.This promotes the continuity of the urban context,and such transformation is what distinguishes a city from other cities.The streets in the old city reflect the characteristics and vitality of the city,and show the face and personality of the city.Shenyang is a famous historical city with countless streets,big and small.Among them,Bagua Street is the most distinctive.It is a block designed by Zhouyi Bagua,which is also the most unique block in China.Bagua Street has its glorious past,but now the street space lacks features,the buildings on both sides of the street are dilapidated,the traffic environment is mixed,and the landscape space and public facilities are not perfect.In the face of many problems,this paper combines the continuation of the urban context with the reconstruction of Shenyang Bagua Street,so that it can retain its characteristics,bring high-quality environment for residents,attract foreign tourists and improve the city image.The development of global economy has led to the diversified development of culture,shaking the position of folk culture in the street.In addition,due to the lag in the study of urban context,the phenomenon of one thousand cities appears,and the charm of the streets themselves is lost.In this case,the author takes the continuation of the urban context as a breakthrough point to explore the reconstruction of the old streets.
