With the process of urbanization accelerated and the development of urbantransport, a growing number of city bridges have been constructed. In order to meet therequirements of beautiful appearance and novelty structures, many diverse bridges haveboomed over10years. The cable-stayed bridge is widely constructed with itsadvantages of beautiful appearance, gentle structure, and strong adaptability. China is acountry with many earthquakes, a lot of earthquake disaster happened during recentyears. Cable-stayed bridges as an important part of urban traffic, the destruction ofcable-stayed bridges in the earthquake will cause great human and economic losses. This paper studies the dynamic and seismic characteristics of the straight and curveddouble-layer girder cable-stayed bridge, provides theoretical reference for the seismicanalysis of similar bridge. Specific research includes the following several aspects:①Describes the basic theory of the bridge seismic design and calculation,Generalized the basic method of bridge seismic response analysis.②Using the general finite element software ANSYS, establishment spatial finiteelement model of the curved cable-stayed bridge, consider the role of structuraldamping and the role of the pile soil interaction.③C onduct response spectrum analysis and dynamic time-history analysis for thecurved cable-stayed bridge, and get the weak part of the stress and displacement indifferent directions earthquake, analysis the seismic capacity and demand.④Explore the difference between seismic response of straight and curveddouble-layer girder cable-stayed bridge whether considering pile soil interaction.
