As the urban transportation is becoming an increasingly serious problem, manylarge cities of china start to develop Rail Transport and BRT so structure of urbanpublic transport has been changed and original balance of traditional public transporthas been broken. Owing to complicated geographic and geomorphic conditions, landshortage for urban construction and high population density, the contradiction betweenrail transport and regular public transport of mountainous city becomes more acute. Inorder to alleviate the contradiction and to realize public transport integration, then todevelop the overall efficiency of public transport system to the greatest extent, the studyfor network layout of regular public transport that is in the context of public transportintegration of mountainous city is indispensable.First of all, this paper studied the concept, morphological, land layout andresident trip characteristics of mountainous city. On that basis, the public transportintegration was defined. Under the background of the public transport integration,thepublic transport system was classified and the public network layout mode (hereinafterreferred to as “gathering-separating Connection mode of main route”) for themountainous city was put forward according to public network layout andcharacteristics of mountainous cities. Thirdly, this paper studied the layout method ofthe four types of bus line: The "layout by layers" method was used for overall publictransport system and " layout by lines and develop into nets" as well as quantitativemodel method were respectively used for specific layers. The paper mainly staudiedthe theory and method for regional transport network layout, put forward regionaltransport network layout model based on the integration, calculated the model throughimproved genetic algorithm and constructed evaluation system to check the initial linenetwork.At last, the paper took Hui Longwan Area, Naman District, Chongqing as anexample, detailedly analyzed overall process of the layout, optimization and inspectionof public transport connection network; Tested and applied the theories and methodthat are mentioned in the thesis.
