| Since2003, eight transport enterprises has been authorized by China’s ministry of communications as the pioneer to develop modern logistics for the whole transport industry, more and more freight transport enterprise began to adjust the business scope and management mode, trying to realize the transformation from traditional transport enterprise to modern logistics enterprises. As practice proves, there hasn’t universal successful model of the transformation from traditional transport enterprise to modern logistics enterprises; therefore, each enterprise should build a specific professional logistics capability according to condition of themselves and market demand, to enhance their competitive advantage in the logistics market. This paper take xi’nanlv Transportation Company as an example, investigated how to transform the operators from traditional single cargo operators to a variety of logistics business.For the purpose of traditional transportation transforms to modern logistics enterprises smoothly, this dissertation firstly analysis’s the difference between traditional transport enterprises and modern logistics enterprises. Base on, analysis’s the necessity and practicability of the transformation from traditional transport enterprise to modern logistics enterprises, and then, summarizes basic pattern and the cutting points of the transformation from traditional transport enterprise to modern logistics enterprises. At last, it’s the case analysis, in the case of Xi’nanlv Transportation Company in Chongqing. Firstly, analysis’s the supply and demand in Chongqing’s logistics market and forecasting increase of the demand in this market.Secondly, proves the necessity of the transformation through the company’s change in management modes and profit model. Using the SWOT analysis method to analysis the conditions for transformation and critical steps of transformation.Finally, studies the start point of the company’s transformation, then giving related suggestions. |
