With the acceleration of urbanization in our country, building firesafety problems will hold-up city public problems in the current social. Inrecent years, more and more fire scientific workers start to research thesafety on building fire using numerical simulation method.In order to research the process and regulars about smoke spread on theperiod of building fire, analyze the influence factors of the evacuation,evaluate and solve the problem of the building fire safety.Through computer simulation method, this paper will combine theprocess of smoke spread the process of evacuation to study. Taking theuniversity apartment as the research object, using modeling softwarePyrosim to reasonable simplify building, and set up3D physical model. Andwhat’s more,reference the fire data at home and abroad, design fire scenarioin accordance with the principle of the most unfavorable conservative. Ituses fire dynamics simulation software FDS5.0to simulate the process offire smoke spread. The main research content is high temperature andvisibility in two meters high on each floor, the two stairwells and threesecurity exits on the first floor. And by using the evacuation software Pathfinder simulation the process of the personnel evacuation, obtain thenecessary safety evacuation time.At last, comparing the dangerous time and essential safety evacuationtime, assess a fire risk in considering all the influencing factors. Inconclusion, this paper puts forward reasonable measures about the fireprevention, and provides reference for similar building fire problems.
