In recent years, with the rapid development of our country’s high-speed railway and increasement of train’s speed, the vibration between wheel and rail caused by track irregularity will greatly influence traffic safety, stability and comfort. Some track irregularity may lead to track and vehicle’s damage, even traffic accidents, it must be controlled strictly, so rail grinding on high speed railway is very important.Because the wear on the surface of rail is very complicated, it is difficult to monitor the condition of wear of grinding wheel on traditional rail grinding, and the efficiency of grinding is low, it also affects the track regularity and roughness. Based on these, the subject "Research on the mechanism and key technology of double wheel follow-up grinding of high-speed rail" is proposed, through monitoring the grinding force to compensate the wear of grinding wheel, research shows that double wheel follow-up grinding system could increase the efficiency and accuracy of rail grinding. The main work and achievements are as follows:1. According to the characteristic of rail grinding on high-speed railway, the strategy of compensation and scheme of measurement for grinding wheel wear is chose on the process of rail grinding, and the concept of double wheel follow-up grinding is proposed.2. Based on the mechanism of the grinding wheel wear, the characteristic of double wheel follow-up grinding is in-depth analyzed, and the mathematical model of wear of rough and fine grinding wheel is established on double wheel follow-up grinding. The processing factors impacted the grinding wheel wear are analyzed, and the mathematical model is verified correct correctly by the experiment, and it is the theoretical foundation of value confirmation of grinding wheel wear compensation value confirmation.3. Appropriate measuring strategy is chose by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of four kinds of measuring strategies. Based on the theoretical model of grinding wheel wear, the ratio of the fine grinding wheel wear and initial grinding depth is analyzed, and the grinding wheel compensation value is made, the compensation process is analyzed too.4. Based on the analysis of the influence factors of grinding wheel on grinding accuracy, the grinding precision of high-speed railway grinding influenced by track static and dynamic characteristic, fluctuation of rail surface, system stiffness, grinding wheel wear and so on is analyzed in detail, and mathematics model are set up, at last computer simulation analysis is built by MATLAB.5. Finally, the summary of paper and prospects of further research are made in the last chapter.In this paper, double wheel follow-up grinding is used in grinding wheel wear measuring, it puts forward a kind of new train of thought for the rail grinding wheel wear measuring, and it’s a great significance to improve the quality, efficiency of the rail grinding.
