The structural design of glassworks has a strong feature. it is closely related to glass-craft. All of the under constructing or built glassworks have the melting section. Glass melt is coming from all kinds of raw materials according to a certain proportion, it’s the quality assurance of glass. The structure design of melting pit is the difficult point and the key to the glassworks, basically including structural calculation and construction.Structural calculation of melting section has compressive capacity of the pile, the pile uplift bearing capacity, the anti-uplift calculation of pit, the reinforcement of the pit, pit wall reinforcement, pit settlement calculation, pit temperature crack calculation. According to the experience and national standard, it should consider the structure. Structural design distinguishes the basement from the melting section. At the time of constructing, it should have some measures and construction measures to pay attention to the mixing proportion of concrete and the material.The personal of structural design should corperate with the constructor in the field.With the development of technology, the process of glass is envolving. But the core of overall structural calculation and structural construction is consistent,whatever it has changed in the factory site, plane size, equipment, melting small furnace and the depth of pit.This paper describes some technology that can be applied to any structural design of the glass-melting pit and ordinary basement, usually can also be referenced for the structural design of galssworks.
