| Large aircraft fuel mass property has an important impact on the aircraft design and flightsafety. Concerning the fact that the existing calculation methods of large aircrafts fuel massproperty can not accurately simulate the actual fuel consumption process, which led to greatdifference between the results and the reality, an oil-channeling model has been built todescribe the fuel consumption laws based on the research of the aircraft fuel system fuel flowrule and the new fuel mass property calculation method has been given in according to themodel. The theoretical analysis and simulative calculation indicates that the oil-channelingmodel more vividly simulates the oil flow in the cavities of the oil tank during the oilconsumption process and more accurate calculation results of the fuel mass property havebeen generated by applying this model so that the engineering requirements can be better met.Its main tasks are:(1) Improved method for determining of the fuel for the oil tank to determine thecalculated volume, low speed of the improved method. Refers to fuel the body fuel spaceoccupied by the corresponding entities (including the shape and spatial location information),the shape of the position is decided by the amount of fuel, the space of the tank capacity oiland fuel by force factors. In this study, an algorithm was improved which was based onnumerical iterative, for the low computational efficiency of current widespread use of slicingmethod.(2) Flight status, multi-tank systems the flow of fuel in each tank between law, on thisbasis to determine the method of calculating residual fuel in each tank to meet the actualneeds of the project. Large aircraft, in order to take full advantage of the space, increase thefuel load is often arranged in many of the wings and fuselage of a number of fuel tanks, thesetank usually connected by piping to form a hydraulic system. The tank set up, resulting in theaircraft may have more than one fuel the body, to determine the amount of fuel in each fuel isthe key for calculating the fuel quality characteristics. On the basis of the research within thefuel system fuel flow law, constructed channeling oil model, the model can describe the flight,the regularity of the flow and consumption of fuel in the fuel system.(3) Developed for flight conditions, fuel quality characteristics of a multi-tank systems(including fuel, fuel center of gravity, fuel moment of inertia and inertia plot, etc.) computingsoftware. In this study, based on CATIA secondary development tools, the use of improvedfuel body to determine the methods and channeling oil model developed calculation softwarefor specific models of general aviation aircraft fuel quality characteristics to providecomputational tools for engineering calculations. |
