Study On Excellent Modern Architecture Conservation Regulation

Taking the opportunity of the research project of Administrative Regulation ofExcellent Modern Architecture Conservation commissioned by the Ministry of theHousing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China, this thesislooks back on the history of Chinese Modern Architectural Heritage regulation systemestablishment, analyzes the present situation, deficiency and influence of regulationsystem by document investigation, qualitative analysis and interview, points out someadministrative problems and loopholes of regulation system, provides somereferences and suggestions to improve the Chinese Modern Architecture conservationregulation system.This thesis consists of three parts.The first part is base research. The introduction mainly expounds the meaning,back ground, research content, study purpose and analysis methods of the ChineseExcellent Architecture described in thesis. Then it summarizes the results of previousstudies and points out that the presently we lack of the research of the problems inChinese Modern Architecture conservation regulation system and administration.The second part is main part of the research. Chapter Ⅱ is an Analysis of thebasic national framework of the regulation system of China’s urban and rural planningand architectural heritage conservation, in order to clarify the existing coverage of thenational regulation system for Modern Architectural Heritage. Chapter Ⅲ is acombing of Chinese Modern Architecture Heritage regulation system establishmentfrom the Chinese Modern Architecture history study stage began in the early20thcentury till now, summary of the trends and pointing out of the deficiencies. ChapterⅣ is a summary of the present overview and core issues of the local work andpractical operation of our Excellent Modern Architecture conservation according tofront-line staffs and experts interviews across the country done by the research group.By analyzing the issues, this chapter raises some suggestions of preparation principle.The third part is the conclusion. Chapter Ⅴshows the main results of thepreparation of the Administrative Regulation of Excellent Modern ArchitectureConservation which try to solve the problems above, such as the framework of theregulation, important provisions and provision explanations. At last there is a final summary of the full text which noting that the effect and insufficient of the researchproject and proposing the future research directions.
