With the rapid development of science and technology innovation, moderncommunication and information technology, computer network technology and modernmeasurement technology combined with each other, mutual penetration, making increasinglyhigh technical content and complexity of the measurement automation system. Meteringautomation system is a collection of modern digital communication technology, computerhardware and software technology, energy metering technology and power marketingtechnology for electricity demand side of one of the integrated real-time informationcollection and analysis processing system, it is dedicated to a public mobile communicationsnetwork and electricity communication networks as the main communications carrier, mobilewireless, fiber-optic network for auxiliary communications carrier, through a variety of meansof communication to achieve the data communication between the main station and on-sitemeasurement terminal system computer.In recent years, with the completion of a new generation of power load managementsystem and power plant and substation electrical energy telemetry systems, and low voltagecentralized meter reading system and distribution transformer monitoring metering systemgradually building to form substations, power plants, feeders, power customers coverage thecommunal change as well as the wide range of low-voltage users data acquisition andmanagement, through integration and building a unified measurement automation system, toachieve real-time remote automatic meter reading, electricity information abnormal alarm,power quality monitoring, line loss analysis, pre-paid, with electrical inspection and loadmanagement and load control, can be achieved on the basis of the line loss quarters as well asthe analysis of demand-side management decision-making.The metering automation systems of Jiangmen Power Supply Bureau unified platformacquisition of the plant station, power plant, designed change public variable and low-voltageusers of all types of data, the integrated application of various types of data, in addition tomeet the automated meter reading, power grid monitoring, electrical check, power qualitymonitoring, load management, line loss management, demand-side management decisions arevery important data and based on production units of the Power Supply Bureau and its subordinate departments to actively put into operation process, from design to constructionmanagement have played a very important role. With the construction and promotion of themetering automation system to carry out application, to improve the level of application ofnew technologies such as computer information, and promote the work of line loss quartilemanagement, lower management line loss rate, and improve the operation and managementlevel of the enterprise grid economy and economic benefits.On the basis of reading a wide variety of domestic and foreign literature, this thesis ismainly concentrated in the metering automation systems technology to achieve functionalapplication, introduce metering concept of the automated system, the status quo, systemarchitecture, system technology, function and its integrated application start meteringautomation systems engineering construction and application examples, and summarizedmetering automation system design, the choice of the construction program, system testing,implementation experience and the construction of the effectiveness of, and strive tointelligent automation in modern measurement technology research and application of theresults to reflect, to adapt to the requirements of the information age of the engineering andtechnical personnel.
