The relay protection is one of the most important and complex work in power system protection department. Along with the formation of national network pattern, the grids at all levels are increasingly linked, so the generality and expandability of the traditional setting calculation system are worse, which is already can’t adapt the demand of current power system. Meanwhile, data models are unified with other system in dispatch, which is difficult to realize data sharing. Therefore this paper researches integrated relay protection setting calculation system, which designed to achieve "horizontal integration and vertical run-through "of setting calculation system.On the basis of the research on the whole system structure design and deployment architecture, it discusses the key technologies. It Mainly includes the following several parties:Model integration. It models the power system mode using CIM, especially the secondary system for the uniform standard, making it satisfy the device setting, so as to form a complete mode of power system, and then researches the device setting process following this standard.Horizontal integration. It researches the interface of system and OMS to realize value list circulation. After setting system completing setting calculation, the client set values stored in the provincial total serve, the provincial total server and the OMS server interaction to complete horizontal integration of this system and OMS. It formulates transmission format based on XML documents, so as to realize seamless interface of system and OMS.Vertical integration. It realizes vertical breakthrough at various levels of setting calculation work. According to the equivalence problems in the division calculation and different setting principles and methods of radial network and ring network, it puts forward boundary equivalence interaction scheme and radiation network power supply scheme. The first scheme solves the boundary equivalence of more than one area calculation, which adapts setting calculation based on the integration application; the second scheme is put forward according to special operation characteristics of radiation network, it optimizes maintenance way and calculation method, and solved multiple sources supply and large power supply transfer of radiation.Practical application shows that the functions of the system is comprehensive, also it has strong universality and practicality.
