The accuracy and reliability of Protection setting is directly related to the safe operation of the power system. With the economy growing, the load grows rapidly. For the construction of smart grid and new energy power generation and grid networks’growing, original protection is no longer adapt to the development and management of information technology grid under the new situation, in particular, value management, order management and other value-tuning the management of urgent improvement.Luoyang grid becomes more complex, the setting management of cities and counties is isolated, it still remains in the stand-alone setting calculation program or manual calculations, did not achieve a unified setting calculation management. According relay setting management status, following the National Grid proposed "horizontal integration, vertical penetration" of information technology requirements, researching on Luoyang grid relay integrated management, to achieve a unified data platform, unified modeling, unified tuning principles, unified device tuning, unified workflow, enhance protection setting calculation, efficiency and quality of operation and management work, to ensure grid safe and stable operation.Firstly, this paper described the present situation of setting management, summed up the current setting management trends and inadequate. Then, it analyzed the problems of setting management for Luoyang power currently, and introduced the necessary to implement the integrated management. By comparison system deployment system law, business data, business applications, policy flexibility, and risks analysis, this paper got the setting integration programs adapted to the needs of Luoyang power, achieved full process management using schedule and cost. Finally, this paper evaluation the setting integrated management for Luoyang grid using analytical hierarchy process.
