Study On Intelligent Management Mode Of Substation

This paper is based on the study of the substation in intelligent development stage, involved in the optimization of management model in respect of safety, operation, equipment, and personnel. Substation is an indispensable part in the electric power system, as it plays an important role in power grid safety and economical operation. Especially the emergence of ultrahigh pressure long-distance transmission and large power grid, with the large capacity generating sets putting into operation continuously, make the security control of power system more complex. If we still rely on the original artificial meter reading, recording, and operation, as well as the old original equipment in the substation, but not technical reform, it inevitably can’t satisfy the requirement of safe and stable operation, let alone to adapt to the modern management mode of electric power system. This requires carrying out equipment reform and management optimization to ensure the substation management to be better, stronger, and faster. The intelligent reconstruction of substation and unattended substation model can meet the development requirement for power grid, equipment and personnel. This paper discussed from three important aspects including substation operation, equipment management, personnel structure, combined with220kV substations intelligent reconstruction project, studied the actual situation of equipment intelligent reconstruction of the substation, carried out full analysis of the main aspects involved in substation intelligent management, and revised and modified the corresponding system, standard and its relevant regulations to meet the substation management requirements under the new mode.
