Abstract/Summary:
The design of Dual Clutch Transmission is on the basis of the development of Manual transmission. DCT inherits the advantages of manual transmission, which has compact structure and high transmission efficiency. It also has characteristics of the stable and comfortable transmission, same as Automatic transmission. Fuel economy of this transmission is also good. All this matters make DCT attract the attention of many car corporations and become the focus of their research. This article mainly discusses the shift quality simulation research of a new kind of DCT designed by Automotive Engineering Technology Research Institute of Hefei University of Technology. Mainly research contents are as follows:First of all, this article introduces the types, characteristics and current situation of development of Automatic transmission and tells the present situation of research both at home and abroad.Secondly, the article summarizes two kinds of classify method and their characteristics. Make an analysis of structure and work principle of this new type DCT, meanwhile make a simple introduction of this DCT on control system.Thirdly, the article introduces the evaluation standard of shift quality. Analyze the factors including shift time, work of slipping and shock affecting the shift quality and put forward methods for improvement.Fourthly the article introduces the AMEsim software. Establish parts of models in this platform and then take the upshift process for example, establish the models of work of slipping and shock under the different oil pressure changing rate situation. Through the analysis, it is concluded that specific influence with the different oil pressure changing rate has influence on shift quality.At last using MATLAB genetic algorithm toolbox optimizes the oil pressure change rate of the clutch and analyzes the optimization results.
