Research And Use On Graphic Symbol Of Interface Design

With the acceleration of urbanization, people put forward higher requirements for means of transport. Metro has become one of the main means of transport for urban development because of its efficiency, punctuality, low pollution. At present, China’s metro has entered into a stage of rapid development, from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou to other second and third tier cities, such as Suzhou, Wuxi and so on. However, our country’s metro started later than other foreign countries, and also with a large number of users, complexity of user types. So we should have more requirements to our country’s metro equipment. In this paper, we take the actual use of graphic symbols in the interface design as a starting point, combined with a metro automatic ticket vending machine interface. And we also explore the application of graphical symbols in a metro automatic ticket vending machine interface design through research and analysis on user cognitive ability, operating behavior, user experience and intrinsic relationship between graphic symbols and interface use, which gives useful try to improve the function of metro facilities.
