Biomass solidifying technology provides a new method of generatingbiomass regeneration energy, which could process some wastes of looseagriculture, forestry and animal husbandry into solid particles with certaindensity and shape by relevant process and equipment.Solidified products are ofcertain strength, saving-space, convenient for storage and transportation,thiskind of products release equal heat compared with the same quality coal,so theycould replace coal used as energy in power plants, urban heating, etc.,at thesame time, they won’t produce sulfide,phosphide and other waste, whichimprove air quality and save fossil fuels.This paper introduces the composition, working principal as well ascharacteristics of flat biomass particles molding machine under cold conditions,analyzes force situation of biomass materials in whole molding process,thiswork provides theoretical support for production and transformation of particlesmolding machine.Because mould size of particles molding machine directly affected moldingeffect of biomass particles,mould working life and energy consumption,Forthese problems, we simulate molding process of biomass particles by using finiteelement analysis software ANSYS,which reveal the influence law of mouldcore cone angleβon contact friction. Allowing for friction stress and neededmolding pressure in whole molding process,this paper provides critical value ofmolding mould cone angle, the relationship curve of friction stress and coneangle as well as the relationship curve of friction and cone angle when they havenot reach critical conditions.We make simulation research on biomass solidifying state with the samemodule cone angle and external diameter but different internal diameter,analyze the relationship between secondary strengthening phenomenon andmodule internal diameter in molding process for biomass particles as well as theinfluence of g secondary strengthening on molding particles quality. According to simulation results and characteristics of experimentequipment, we design and process the molding mould needed in experiment aswell as its accessory equipment,do solidifying molding experiment of twokinds of biomass materials by using hydraulic universal press under experimentalconditions, observe the appearance of molding particles and detect anti-deformation, shatter resistance and water resistance as well as otherperformance index,this research verifies if theoretical analysis is correct, andprovides basis for the following theoretical study and practical production.
