In recent years, the children’s medical emergencies gradually increased, the community has devoted more attention to this special group of children.With the transformation of medical model from "the biomedicine pattern" to "biological--psychological-society", people have not satisfied merely to increase the level of medical treatment, also began to medical environment put forward higher request.The large number of studies have shown that human disease is not just caused by biological factors, psychological state of children, as well as social and environmental factors play an essential role in the cure of the disease.Environment as a special kind of treatment is becoming the focus of attention, the function of the hospital environment, making the design concept of the modern hospital care unit environment constantly changes, all the children for the core, to create a goodhospital pediatric care unit of the indoor environment to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of hospitalized children has become an inevitable requirement for the development of the times.Pediatric care unit as an important part of children’s health care environment, the quality of their environment have a crucial impact on the rehabilitation of children requiring hospitalization.This article through the literature reading, field survey research methods, and combined with the development of medical model, pediatric care unit audience groups and the psychological, to pediatric care unit environment design principle in summary, and put forward the pediatric hospital care unit indoor activity room, family environment, environmental externalization humanization design perspective.The significance of this study is to relative scientific and rational design basis for the design of hospital pediatric care unit environment.to provide a clear way for further research on this subject.and provide some useful information for the future engineering design of the hospital pediatric care unit environment.
