Internal electronic piezo gauge is an equipment to obtain in-bore dynamicpressure curve. The test curve is very important to the velocity forecast ofcannonballs’ external ballistic trajectory, the strength check of the guns’chamber and the performance analysis of propellant. This paper analyses thedynamic performance of internal electronic piezo gauge, demonstrating that theinternal electronic piezo gauge used in chamber pressure test is reasonable fromthe frequency domain. It is the ideal equipment for chamber pressure testing.During the chamber pressure testing process, because the measuringenvironment is very bad, the peak pressure data spreads for the regular staticcalibrated electronic piezo gauge used in chamber testing. regular internalelectronic piezo gauge static calibration for pressure testing found that peakpressure testing curve spread some big. For this problem, the necessity of theapplied environment calibration has been analyzed in this paper, the calibration technology of the environment has been proposed, simulative chamber pressuregenerator for simulating bore pressure of gun is developed and the calibrationdevice in the simulative application environment is formed. Then it proves therationality of the calibration device calibrating the electronic pressure gauge inthe simulative application environment from four aspects.The simulative chamber pressure generator can obtain the harsh environmentof high pressure, high temperature, high impact similar to that produced whenthe signal of the chamber curve and the cannon are emitted. Internal electronicpiezo gauge can be calibrated in the environment simulated by it. Thousands ofexperiments prove that the calibration of the internal electronic piezo gauge inthe simulation environment is necessary. This calibration method can not onlygreatly improve the accuracy of electronic pressure gauge, but also validate thereliability of electronic pressure gauge in the calibration process.In order to confirm the quality of test results, on the basis of studying theuncertainty theory, the uncertainty of the internal electronic piezo gauge and thethree sets of standard test system in the calibration device is evaluated, and the quality of the results are analyzed quantitatively, which lay a foundation forfurther improving the test precision of the internal electronic piezo gauge.
