In resent years, the achievement of automobile industry in China is very remarkable. Asthe car ownership soaring, automotive electronic industry also get rapid development. Surveyshows: in developed countries, The price of automotive electronics in a car is over30%of thetotal price, and has a rising trend. Therefore, new product development and technicalinnovation of automobile are more dependent on the increase of automotive electronicstechnology. The research level of automobile electronic products directly affect the ability ofdesigning a new car. Compared with abroad, China’s automotive electronics productdevelopment level is very low. It has seriously restricted the development of automobileindustry in China. With modern electronic communication technology, the various vehicle isregarded as independent sources of information. These sources will be connected to theInternet by wireless communication technology, so as to achieve the purpose of unifiedcontrol and management of all vehicles. Therefore, it is necessary to study on the car networkrelated topics. In this paper, we will make exposition from following several aspects:First, brief introduction about vehicle information system. Including related meaning,research status, etc.Second, research and analysis of the CAN bus application layer protocol based on IPv6protocol, the research the process of IPv6network connection controller area networkapplication layer protocol.Third, research based on the Internet of technology of car network, research each nodehow to carry on the EPC code and CAN bus ID (node) mapping.Fourth, study and analysis the structure of EPC system.The paper analyzed the application layer protocol by designing and the implementationof some related applications. First, the paper analyzed the system of EPC. We can promote thedevelopment of the entire car networking by reduce the cost of the system of EFC. Second,the paper designs and realizes the automotive systems based on CAN bus. The system isbased on the CDMA and IPv6and keeps the translation of the right data. The system canserver the users well, and in some ways, promotes the development of the entire car networking.
