Through investigation and study we know that aircraft parts cleaning in aerospace field today mostly still stays in the hand washing and lag of water-based cleaning and drying process, which not only increase the intensity of labor, consume a large amount of clean medium, increase the cleaning cost, also make clean environment certain potential danger. Aircraft parts cleaning and even whole aerospace enterprises are faced with great challenges because of the stricter in the quality of aircraft parts and the increasing focus on environmental protection. Through extensive investigation and analysis, this paper introduces the most advanced, most efficient, most of green environmental protection hydrocarbon cleaning technology in the world to the aircraft parts cleaning. We design the hydrocarbon cleaning process specifically for aircraft parts combined with the traditional cleaning method. We design the aircraft parts cleaning machine based on the process which can meet the requirement of aircraft parts cleaning. The main research content is as follows:(1) We analyze the aircraft parts cleaning tasks carefully and make detailed investigation of aircraft parts cleaning on the current situation at home and abroad. We analyze and compare the commonly used cleaning agent and choose the hydrocarbon solvent which is green and environmental protection. And then we analyze the advantages and disadvantages and cleaning ability of hydrocarbon solvents in detail.(2) We make the special cleaning process for the aircraft parts combined with traditional cleaning methods according to the advantages and disadvantages of hydrocarbon solvent and the actual application effect. And we analyze the gas phase of hydrocarbon cleaning process and vacuum drying process and distillation process in detail.(3) We design the equipment for aircraft parts according to the cleaning task and the cleaning process. We design the systems of the equipment and assembly drawing, part drawing, line drawing and wiring diagram and other technical drawings based on the modern design theory and mechanical design, mechanical principle and so on. The cleaning machine has been put into production now.(4) We design the pneumatic control system and PLC control system according to the cleaning requirements and actual need of work and make the cleaning process. Through analyzing the design and the practical industrial production we know that the cleaning machine can meet the cleaning needs of aircraft parts although it is still in the stage of processing and manufacturing. It would be able to replace the original manual cleaning and water-based cleaning completely. It can not only improve the production efficiency nearly two times, reduce labor intensity, but also reduce reagent consumption, lower production costs. The most important is that it can realize zero emissions, zero pollution, green environmental protection cleaning effect and adapt to the requirement of modern industrial production.
