The domestic precision parts cleaning industry is flinty challenged with the increasingly strict quality requirement and international fortified environmental protection. The ODS cleaning technology which has been the dominating cleaning technology in precision parts cleaning has been forbidden because of ozone-depleting. As the substitute products of ODS, some hydrochloric ether cleaning agent, water-based cleaning agent and hydrocarbon solvent have the disadvantages of toxicity, inconvenient water treatment, dissatisfactory cleaning result, and bad aridity and security, which restrain the current development of domestic cleaning industry . In order to solve the existent problem of precision parts cleaning, the hydrocarbon ultrasonic cleaning and vacuum drying technology for precision parts is researched and a new kind of cleaning equipment is developed. The main works of this paper as follows:1. The actuality of precision parts cleaning methods is investigated. The characteristics of hydrocarbon is analyzed. And the influencing factors of hydrocarbon cleaning like temperature, external force and cleaning time are investigated through cleaning comparison experiment.2. The theory of ultrasonic cleaning is analyzed, and the way to reduce solvent gas content is found according to the feature of precision parts. Also, the feasibility of vacuum drying is analyzed based on hydrocarbon's bad aridity and security, and the vacuum working pressure should be under 13.3KPa, and heating temperature is around 110℃.3. Cleaning technological process of precision parts like motor is established, and the cleaning equipment is developed. During the development of the cleaning equipment, vacuum system is designed for hydrocarbon vapor cleaning and vacuum drying, and vacuum degassing device is designed to enhance the result of ultrasonic.4. According to the need of automatic control of the cleaning equipment, PLC control system is designed and control program is compiled. The cleaning equipment running parameter is determined to assure cleaning quality by debugging.Research indicates, combining hydrocarbon solvent with vacuum will get a better result of cleaning. The research result has been utilized in actual production, the whole cleaning time of the precision parts cleaning equipment has been reduced by 60% compared with traditional hydrocarbon cleaning equipment with hot-air drying technology, and the average cleanliness of precision motor shell and rotor is less than 2mg. Meanwhile, the application of the technology and equipment can be further extended to other parts cleaning fields.
