Agile Shipbuilding is the level of the highest stage. The production design and outfitting the critical stage of the procurement, production, transportation, installation, integration and management of integration of its most important characteristics. In the environment of the shipbuilding industry is booming, the integrative control of piping design and production planning has gradually become the shipyard produced a short-board, and its greatly affect the quality and progress of the shipbuilding. Agile shipbuilding mode, the problem of the integrated control system for the design and production of fittings in-depth study of great significance and practical value.1. Piping design and production of characteristic and problem is summarized base on agile shipbuilding mode in this paper. The Theory of Constraints (TOC) is introduced. By analyzing the principle and control methods of the Theory of Constraints, shows the limits and excellence and the main problem in manufacture plan, and then brings forward the application process.2. Study on the ship’s pipe is carried on to the shipyard, Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. carried out a field survey. Pipe design and production planning management theory:the pipe management study status and problems of product design is analyzed in detail; Detailed analysis of the main problems of the tube production design and areas for improvement, improved method of and applied research, and put forward a better tube processing coding system, and by use for reference the Manufacturing Resource Planning Ⅱ (MRPII)’s long term plan and capability balance theory, and bring forward to the feasibility of integration of pipe design and producing is analyzed based on MRPII and TOC.3. To study on key technique about integration of pipe design and producing. By analyzing scatter model, multi-specification, small batch production model, to bring forward a method of identify Filler Model of Workshop. And by analyzing buffer enactment and data collection in workshop, to design a frame of piping design and production based on capability balance. At last, by analyzing the problem of piping design and production of the shipyard, Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd, and introducing the now status of Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. This paper presents an integrated Control System of piping design and production, and this system is applied in DACKS with a good effect.
