| In order to meet the STCW Manila convention amendment requirements and theNo.102009of transportation order for our country on nautical college requirements forteaching equipment, more and more Maritime-related Colleges have the sailingmaneuvering simulator. Simultaneously, each college should be equipped withnavigating equipments for the assessment of training, but these equipments can’t workproperly or conduct normal sailing instruction because they can not get the necessarynavigational measured data in the inland areas. Through the computer serial port, network, database programming techniques, thisstudy will store the data which were generated by the existing navigational maneuveringsimulator NMEA0183-compliant data through multiple serial ports to the datamanagement system to be developed, and then send data to the computer terminal byLAN programming technology, and then pass through the serial ports related marinenavigation equipments which can display the corresponding data in line with therequirements of navigation training. It can solve the problem of marine navigationdevice effectively which is not used effectively in teaching. During studying, a series of key issues will be solved, such as the data formatthroughNMEA0183will be analyzed, database management system model and the LANdata transmission model and so on., and then some typical marine equipment such asGPS, AIS, VDR will connect to the established system. At last the effectiveness of thissystem will be verified. Based on this study, the data transmission channel will be opened from handlingsimulator to marine navigation equipment, and we will determine the effectivenavigational maneuvering simulator data output formats and protocols, at the same time,study the working principle a variety of navigational equipment, and it can provide atheoretical basis for later true sailing maneuvering simulator and an effective attempt toimplement the development of ship digital Funabashi. |
