With the rapid development of China’s economy, businesses growing demands forelectricity, low-cost high-reliability electronic power meter has a very broad market potential.At present, the widely used multi-function energy meter based on the "Measure Chip+MCU"dual-core programs. But it has many problems as the matching of two cores, the reliability ofdata transmission, expensive and so on. So it’s necessary to develop high-performance multi-function power meter based on single-chip SoC. Further, stealing behavior is seriously in reallife so that the state and power enterprises suffered huge economic losses. Improve the energymeasurement device itself anti-tamper capability is significant. Besides, at present, thecommunication protocol can not be unified, which hampered the setting up of automaticmeter reading system and the realization of smart grid. R&D interoperable DLMS/COSEmeter communication protocol is the development trend of energy metering technology athome and abroad.Accordingly, we designed a intelligent multi-functional energy meter based on structureof single-chip SoC of TDK71M6521. The system has functions of high-precisiontime-sharing multi-rate measurement and demand measurement, and it can real-time monitorof stealing behavior, communication protocols meet the IEC-62056standard. This energymeter is low-cost, accurate, feature-rich, reliable, and has broad application prospects.The thesis is divided into6sections:Chapter1is an introduction, which describes the historical development of energy meter,explores the the current research and trends of multi-function electronic energy meter. ThisChapter also describes the issues and their significance, and pointes out that the main contentsof this thesis;Chapter2introduces the basic structure of the electronic energy meter based onTDK71M6521, and represents the overall design goals and system design;Chapter3describes the working principle of energy measurement chip TDK71M6521,Details main module hardware circuit design of the single-phase multi-function electronicenergy meter which based on TDK71M6521,discusses the anti-tampering design technology;Chapter4describes the software development environment and operating platform,which mainly describes the design of main program, time-sharing multi-rate module, energymetering module, demand metering module and communication module;Chapter5analyzes and corrects meter error, and expound system reliability design; Conclusion summarizes the work of full thesis and the direction of follow-up.This SoC design single phase electronic energy meter has functions of high-precisiontime-sharing multi-rate measurement and demand measurement, and it can real-time monitorof stealing behavior, communication protocols meet the IEC-62056standards. This energymeter has been product by mass.
