Subway vehicle air spring is a key component of noise and vibration control, widelyused in railway passenger cars, subway, and light rail and EMU, due to its superior noiseisolation performance. With rapid development of Shanghai urban rail transit, a largenumber of maintenance inspection tasks and backward detection means, made difficult tothe vehicle maintenance department. Therefore, the maintenance department needed acomprehensive process and advanced air spring maintenance overhaul of equipment toimprove vehicle maintenance and overhaul of maintenance quality, and reduce operationalmaintenance costs of metro vehicles, and improve the safe operation factor of subwayvehicl.The theoretical of the air spring performance is studied, including non-linear airspring stiffness, the used air spring performance, maintenance technology and standards.For the condition of Shanghai air springs, targeted testing program was proposed.A three-beam six columns (four columns, two ball screws) test bed structure iscompleted, the mechanical strength were calculated and analyzed, and the control systemof the test bed was studied and fuzzy control established for the control system.Advantech IPC and virtual instrument motion control card PCI7390, data acquisitioncard PCI6221and signal conditioning SCXI1520are used in the control system of the testbed. Functional modular design concept is used in software development, and the softwarewas completed based on object-oriented graphical programming language Labview andWindows XP. Finally, a simulation study of the control system was established by thecomputer simulation software Matlab/Simulink.Innovation of this dissertation:(1) The performance testing of air springs after the vehicle repaired was first proposed,and it filled gaps in shanghai subway vehicle equipment.(2) Test data processing, the traditional "point to point" stiffness method eliminated,and the least squares curve fitting method was used for data processing. Meanwhile, the fuzzy control algorithm applied to the displacement measure of the non-linear air spring.Major work of this dissertation:(1) The Shanghai subway vechile air spring system (European series air spring) wasanalysed, the performance testing standards and testing methods of the air spring repairedwere developed, according to the standard TB/T2841-2010, EN13593-2003.And themathematical model of the air spring was established.(2) The control system of the air spring performance test bed was researched,according to the non-linear air spring, uncertainties and other features, and fuzzy controlsystem based on the servo control system was developed.(3) The mechanical structure and control system hardware of the air springperformance test bed was developed.(4) Fuzzy control algorithm of the control system was studied, and the simulation ofthe control system was designed and analysed. And the control system software of the testbed was designed and compiled.With the country’s rapid development of rail transit construction, the subject ofresearch results will be promoted in the vehicle maintenance department of urban masstransit, rail and EMU in others city.
