With the rapid development of China’s national economy and acceleration of theprocess of urbanization, urban traffic congestion is increasingly becoming the focus ofattention. One-way traffic as a relatively simple organizational measures, have obviousadvantages to improve the link capacity and vehicle speed and to reduce trafficaccidents. So it has been paid more and more attention and provide a new idea toeffectively solve the problem of increasingly serious traffic congestion. But at the sametime also cannot ignore the problem of traffic detour, traffic conflict and transfershortcomings. The mountain city is also using one-way traffic to ease urban trafficcongestion, but its effects are not very satisfactory, therefore it is necessary to study thesuitability of the mountain city one-way traffic organization.This paper introduces the smooth flow of road network reliability to evaluate theoperational efficiency of road network before and after the one-way traffic organization,and then study and analyze the suitability of one-way traffic organization of themountain city for the characteristics of mountain urban road space is limited, most ofthe roads are relatively narrow and does not set the median strip, one-way trafficorganization available to bypass the choice of the vehicles road is relatively small, theimpact of its road network is larger than the average plain cities. Unblocked Reliabilityis applied to the suitability of the one-way traffic organization course of the study forthe first time. The impact of traffic impact in the organization of the one-way traffic andthe unit of the road network unblocked reliability is analysis based on the existingone-way traffic theory and network reliability theory.
