Research About Evaluation Method OfTechnical Condition Index Of Suspension Bridge

The damage assessment for bridges is important in bridge conservation、maintenanceand technical reconstruction，which is also one of the most important problems that arebeing discussed by engineers and scholars at home and abroad；.The so-called bridge technical condition evaluation is based on the acquisition of thetechnical state of bridge data， using a series of evaluation on index and ecaluationmodel of the operational performance of bridge meet the use requirements andfunctional requirements of the degree judgement. How to judgement the technicalcondition evaluation of the existing bridge is a premise to judging the bridges whethercan continue to do carry work or not， and then adopt proper maintenance， repair，reinforcement and reconstruction work，so reached the goal to prevent accidents in thedaily using.This paper is based on the conclusion of the evaluation research of bridge of domesticand abroad，combination of bridge theory， making a further research on technicalcondition evaluation method of the existing bridges. The main contents are as follows.①Based on a great deal of informations of domestic and abroad research status ofbridge structure assessment，review and analysis of the domestic and foreign bridgestructure assessment of various methods， and gives the advantages and disadvantagesof various methods and the scope of application.②Analysis of several Chinese bridge maintenance standard of bridge technicalcondition evaluation method， and discuss their shortcomings in assessing suspensionbridge.③I n the light of the structural characteristics and the main diseases ofsuspensionbridge， Establishing finite element model，research the influence of various diseases tothe model，Combining the disease points system in 《Technical Code Of MaintenanceFor City Bridge》（CJJ99－2003），presents a method for technical condition evaluationfor city suspension bridge.④Taking a suspension bridge as an example，conduct a comprehensive inspectionand defect analysis on the bridge，according to the results of the inspection by themethods of evaluation.
