In recent years, the rapid development on MEMS brings unmatched technicalsupport for fuze. MEMS technology can ensure the miniaturization of fuze body andincrease its stability. This content is divided into two parts: The design ofMEMS-based safety and arming device as well as experimental verification.This paper first describes the development of MEMS technology and its uses onfuze, then according to the given environment Parameters, under the virtual design,create a dynamic model,carry out Structural design and simulation in the ADAMSsoftware.After processing with LIGA technology, measure the critical dimension ofsome parts,have a certain understanding on processing error, then derive the error onthe fuze function.After assembly of parts,then verify some of its function by test, test results will becompared with the initial simulation, then we can further confirm the reliability ofvirtual design.For the test problems, measures were taken to improve existing issues,the main problem is the instability of the spring stiffness and the reliability of thepadlock.
